Danny McAdams - Pastor
Pastor Danny started Life Tabernacle in the spring of 1998. The son of the late,Evangelist Johnie McAdams. Danny sang with the family as they traveled and held revivals. He met his wife Susan at a revival that his Father held in Dyersburg, Tn. After moving to Terre Haute, Indiana in 1977 and attending church and working in the music minisrty , Danny & Susan were married in 1979. They have a son, Shaun and a daughter, April. Danny joined a Gospel group in 1986 that was based in Indianapolis. After several years of studying the Gospel, under Pastor Amos Bridwell, Danny was Ordained in the church  in November 1987. After several years of commuting back and forth to Indianapolis every weekend to sing , Danny & Susan asked the Lord to move them to Indianapolis and the Lord did just that in 1988. After 5 years with the group, the Lord moved him into his Solo ministry. Then in 1998 the Lord laid on his heart to pastor a church, but not wanting to heed to the call, Danny prayed to the Lord and said "If this is what you want me to do, then cause someone to give me a building or a church, "debt free" and God did just that. We were handed a church building absolutely free.  And God is still blessing. We have recently built a new church building.

April Koons - Youth Director

Pastor Danny's daughter, April, started working with the youth when the church began in 1998.  She got married in 2005 to Eric Koons and a year later, they welcomed their baby girl, Abigail.  April also works as a Business Analyst at Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.  As Youth Director, she oversees all youth ministries as well as our Bus Ministry and Nursery.  Having worked with the youth since 1998 has allowed her to work with the same children, from Pampers to Prom!  Although, it makes her feel old, she finds it a blessing to be able to be there for the kids in the different phases of their life.  She has been blessed to also work with a great team under each ministry.  A special thank you to Julia Sanders for organizing our Nursery!  A special thank you to the teachers for all their hard work, time and commitment:  Janie Townsend, Veronica Clark, Billie Faye Atchison, Gracie Burdette and music leader Maria Allison.  She is nothing without God but also could not have a youth ministry without such a great team!
